Both of these face charts are practically the same however I wanted to start out without the nose bar... I think she's looks very 'Lara Croft' which ISN'T the look I'm going for.
The skill will be flawless, really dewy and natural with a strongly contoured face (cheeks and nose), with subtle highlighting of the cheekbones. I also thought about darkening around the eyes slightly with a light brown shadow giving the look more of an edge.
The eyebrows will be dark if not the same colour as the hair and will be pointed looking tame but wild giving the look a strong edge. Again, I like to focus on the hair and accessories.
Within my tutorials at uni, I test out and try different techniques and products to see how they work and which ones I like.
Below is an example of fullersearth... a power which when mixed with water creates a grey paste which can be applied to the hair (as shown below).

I'm sorry the picture and the dolls head is REALLY bad, but I tested out my plaits and what it would look like with fullersearth on top of it however I found it to be too clumpy and the look I had drawn above would look better with the hair not looking dirty but look sleek.

On the dolls head, I back combed all the the back of the hair and scraped the front section back. I have also applied fullersearth onto the hair to make it stiffer and mucky looking. I painted over this in a brown aqua colour from my Kryolan palette. I loved how easy it was to apply a colour onto the hair when using this product. This may be a possibily for one of my looks...
This week coming I will be doing some tests trying out a couple of different looks and aspects of looks which I am thinking of using for my final looks.
But for now, it's 1.22am and I am absolutely shattered! I have a hen party tomorrow night which I'm doing hair and makeup for and then the same for her wedding on the sunday so I have an exciting weekend ahead. Wish me luck! x
