Her head piece is simple compared to her clothing however it is still a key piece to their appearance. (If you cover her head piece with your hand it doesn’t look right) I have noticed their head decoration is a vital part of their appearance and is definately need in my editorial photoshoot. Aspects of a head piece I could incorporate into my catwalk look however a head piece would be unsuitable. Maybe I could make a small headband with braids attached?
Her hair is plaited under the head piece and then it seems like she has textures and threads woven into her hair at the bottom. Hmmm so many ideas I want to try!
the face paint is so simple yet it looks so effective when combined with the whole appearance. Extreme and over dramatic makeup isn’t the answer! This is beautiful and looks delicate.

I found this image on http://itsrandomknowledge.blogspot.co.uk/2010/10/who-are-aboriginal-people.html
After doing art at GCSE and A Level I have seen and studied aboriginal art before.
I think the body paint on his face and the head dress which he is wearing is stunning. The colours look beautiful together, I love the way the top of his arm matches the pattern on his face and even his hugeeee beard looks amazing! (And I hate beards!) His hands are painted white almost like he is wearing gloves.
What I have found so far looking through all of these tribes in the world is that they’re all highlighting the body in a way which is so unique. They express the meaning of their tribes through body art. He has some sort of shells/rocks attatched to his head piece which could be a symbol for nature, religion, they could have a spiritual meaning too.
I love his stretch through his nose and I plan to incorporate this into one of my ideas!
My aim in this project is to project these meaning through the art of my styling.
